Authentication and Conservation of Cultural Heritage. Research and Technique - ACCHRT publishes articles on all aspects of advanced authentication and Conservation of Cultural Heritage with instrumental analytical methods.

The original research as well as and technical papers dealing with the various subdomains of authentication are welcomed. This includes for surface analysis the photogrammetry, digital photography, X-radiography, UV and IR reflectography.

Depending on the nature of the support analyzed include techniques the electron microscopy (transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, analytical microscopy X-ray, EELS, Auger, etc.), light microscopy etc., spectroscopy techniques (XRF spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy-FTIR, etc.), scanning probe microscopy (AFM, STM, etc.), X-ray induced emission of particles (PIXE), thermoluminescence (TL) etc.

It is expected that manuscripts submitted for consideration will clearly present the scientific question, justify the type of specimen(s) used in the experiment, explicitly describe the methods utilized, employ proper statistics, present previously unpublished data, discuss whether the experiment has answered the proposed question, compare the results with those in salient published literature, and conform to ACCHRT, prescribed journal format.
